What is Pierogi People?
Pierogi People is where we celebrate the humans behind the dumplings – people who’ve packed up their lives and landed in Poland for work, love, adventure, or sometimes by complete accident. Most of our Pierogi People were born abroad, but you’ll also meet re-pats – Poles who’ve returned after years away.
We dig into the big questions: What made them come here? What did they expect to find? What were those first “oh no, what have I done?” moments? And, most importantly, what keeps them here?
Our Pierogi People are all around you. They’re teaching the next generation, building businesses, guiding tourists, rescuing animals, pouring your wine, running hotels, and even feeding the community. In short: they’re helping Poland thrive while living their own Polish chapters.
